Planning tools only
The calculators and guides provide general educational estimates. Results are not bids, guarantees, professional advice, engineering calculations, lender disclosures, tax determinations, legal opinions, safe operating limits, or official market rates.
Your responsibility
You are responsible for verifying inputs, formulas for your intended use, job scope, site conditions, utilities, permits, contracts, taxes, insurance, licensing, environmental rules, legal payload, securement, equipment capacity, manufacturer instructions, and safe work practices.
Local data and downloads
Saved scenarios are stored locally in the browser. Share links can expose inputs to recipients and software through which the link passes. Downloaded quote files are controlled by the user and must be reviewed before being sent to a customer.
No warranty
The site is provided as available without warranties of accuracy, completeness, fitness, uninterrupted availability, or suitability for a particular decision. To the extent permitted by law, use is at your own risk.
Acceptable use
Do not misuse the site, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with availability, submit harmful content through forms, or represent the site's examples as guaranteed market data. You may use results for your own planning and customer documents after reviewing them.
Changes and contact
Terms may change when site functionality or legal requirements change. Material revisions receive an updated date. Contact utilitycalcs@gmail.com with questions.
Downloaded quote use
The generated HTML quote is an editable planning draft, not a completed contract. You may use it for your own business after reviewing the numbers and adding the parties, scope, dates, payment terms, taxes, exclusions, allowances, change-order process, warranty language, signatures, and any disclosures required for the job. Do not remove information in a way that misrepresents the site's examples as verified facts.
Third-party and service availability
Netlify delivers the site and processes the optional feedback form. Browser, email, hosting, payment, advertising, or other third-party services may have separate terms and privacy practices when used. Links do not imply endorsement. Features, formulas, defaults, and availability may change when errors are corrected, requirements evolve, or a service is no longer practical.
Disputes and mandatory rights
These general terms do not waive consumer or other rights that cannot legally be waived. Laws differ by location, so obtain qualified legal advice for contract, licensing, consumer, employment, tax, or dispute questions. If one provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions are intended to continue to the extent permitted.
